A 1965 Chevy Malibu floor shift steering column the same part as a Buick Skylark steering column?

Will there be any fitment issues or electrical wiring concerns.

Thinking of a possible "4 speed" conversion for my auto transmission skylark.

    Thanks,
    Robert

Should be the same. Same platform (GM A-body). I know that in later years it made a difference on the electrical connections if the car had cornering light or not, but that was even on the same model year car ( 1987 Buick Regal WITH cornering lights versus 1987 Buick Regal WITHOUT cornering lights )

It is the same column. If you have the parts it is not a bad job.I have almost everything from a 65 4 speed car if you need it. It was an original 300 4-speed car that got wrecked a long time ago.
