I'm a die hard buick lover, and have cherished, and loved this car for over 20 plus year's, as you all know, general motors made a boat load of chevelle super sports, and a load of nova's! Don't get me wrong, I mean no disrespect to chevys, have owned many CHEVELLES over the year's and love them! I actually own a 70' nova now! But like i said I'm a buick nut! L.O.L. Looks nice! My neighbor back on the 70’s had one this color. They sure look good with Cragars on them!
Will never happen. Beautiful car. I love it but 800,000 nickels? Nope. You know it would cost way more than 40k to build this car. Rough time in the world to expect top dollar.
Great color, great looking car. Code F is Buick's Blue Mist, Chevy called it Marina Blue. This code F car would be my first choice for a 4 speed 66 GS. But I already have a Silver Mist 4 speed car....and was thrilled to find it. There's a 4 speed car on eBay right now for $15k. It's black but was originally code E Midnight Blue. I wish I could buy them both, would be cool to have all 3 shades of blue in my garage. My blue car is the lighter code D Astro Blue. Only cost me $200 (4000 nickles) in 1982.
I probably have a few dozen in my change jar - I'll gladly donate them to the cause if a board member wants to bring the car into the fold. Anyone know if it's this car from the '17 Nationals concours class? I can't remember if it was a 4-sp. Obviously diff. wheels/tires & looks to be a different shade but screens lie. It was a beauty for sure.
I'm probably in the minority that likes '66s better then '67s. This car is about exactly how I'd build one, trick out the engine a little and roll on some Cragars. Perfect.
