We used to chain the hoods shut when we put our cars on the corner for sale. I'm sure that's what that's for. Just because something is garage kept doesn't mean it spends it's whole life in the garage or has never been put out for an extended period of time requiring some extra security locking the hood would provide, you know, like if he has it for sale parked somewhere.... ..... Oh, and good looking car! I like the LeSabre's looks better than the Wildcats myself.
Shoot out here in so cal every Friday we gotta lock up the duals on the trucks and trailers or else they hop gate cut valve stem and slide the outer tires all the way around the rig and trailers
We had some meth heads break into one of the local Les Schwab's outside storage and steal 30 something brand new Alcoas and Super Singles. When they tried to sell them to Pacific Recycling a couple blocks away for scrap, they were easily caught. Morons.
This one would be very nice, it has some nice options and the colour is also very nice. I like it! I've also now learned where the optional 4-way flasher kit goes...this one has it, if I remember right, a rare dealer installed option that is hard to find nowadays. Too bad there wasn't an engine shot; - it would have been nice to see if it was as well cared for as the rest of the car.
