6 Chrysler New Yorker coupe, Golden Lion Edition. Western Canadian car, very solid. Car is running and driving but does need some restoration. This car was loaded with almost all options except air conditioning. It has power windows, power vent windows, vacuum power trunk release, driver and passenger power seats, front and rear heater, rear defroster, AM radio with front and rear speakers. Power antenna, Sentinel lighting for headlights, dash clock, Auto Pilot (cruise control), buckets and console with cigarette lighter on back of console, retractable seatbelts, fender tip turn signals, lower exterior body stainless steel trim, passenger side mirror and tinted glass all around. Runs great, starts and drives. Big block 383 with 727 automatic. Windshield and tires need replacing, driver front fender was replaced many years ago from minor accident, driver side rear quarter has filler from previous damage as well. Car would be fairly easy project to be on the road driving, could be a patina driver, but really should be painted to do it justice. $3,750.00 call or text 416 525 8150

Amazing how many of these things have survived, especially around here. I regularly see at least 3 or 4 of these things and I know a lot of people who them lying in their back yards in varying degrees of decrepitude.
So it's a 2 door Kleenex box with a console; yeah, it's a bit rare, most of the survivors are sedans with a bench. This particular animal looks like it was reupholstered and repainted back in the 80s; - all of it done very cheaply. It'll need a lot of work to sort it out and it won't be cheap; - and it'll cost 3 times what the car would ever be worth. Hard pass recommended.

But it has a lucite steering wheel:D I don't need to own one as I've had my share of Chrysler boats in the day. Worst gas mileage ever??? my 1968 Chrysler Imperial crown coupe (looked alot like this car). It had a 440 with a huge Holly on it (could have been a thermoquad? not sure) You could not pour fuel in fast enough for that car . Sold it to a kid with a duster that wanted the 440. Don't know if he tried the swap as it's not for the faint of heart. Nothing fits at all.

My brother-in-law got a hard lesson in Chrysler K frame technology when he tried to dump a V-8 into a Volare that had a 6; - oh yeah, the next Monday his Old Man got rid of both the block and the gutted out Volare; which had been a running car before he took a sawzall to it.
All big Chryslers from 65-69 looked pretty much the same; they'd run out of money again so they recycled that platform until it absolutely made no sense anymore. Sorry, if there's one car company on this earth I absolutely detest it's Chrysler, I cut my teeth (and a lot of other parts) as a budding mechanic doing engine and tranny swaps on mid-seventies Chryslers. I hate them and vowed never to own one, and to this day, never have.
