Nice looking car, I'd prefer a Buick in there, but if it's got to have something different......

OK V8 Buick People: I don't really know how to rate this one. It looks like a good build but again, an up close and personal, a drive and get 'er in the air will tell much much more! I think that someone that likes this type of car may not be concerned about the engine swap. Mitch

Beautiful car, and 99cui more is okay I guess, but isn't it giving the th350 99 more problems to stay alive?

Looks like it lost the AC and the heater along the way.

Any transmission will live if all the tires do is smoke. We had a TH350 behind a 570 hp LS-6 in a '67 Chevelle for years.

Nice looking car! I agree, I'd want A/C, but thats just me. While I'd rather have a nailhead , as engine swaps go, this one is at least more intriguing than the typical LS/sbc swap.

    "401, 501, what's the difference..."
I guess the owner figured if 401 is good, 501 should be better. Wonder if that worked for him...

Yeah, I know, the engine displaces 500.02 cu. in, it was known as a "501" around here, my apologies for not being exact.

There are 500's that push 400 conservatively rated Hp. from the factory.(As in my old 1970 Eldorado) and much later versions ending in around '76 that were smogged to death. It really matters which one is swapped in there. The electronic ign. isn't a good sign, but might be just swapped in there.
