Selling 4 1967 showroom dealer license pates - GS 400 - LeSabre - Skylark - Special

These are some of the rarest items to find for your literature collection - these were for dealers to put on the cars in the showroom. These plates are hard cardboard, finished in silver with black letters. I have been building a full set (shown) for close 38 years, I got fortunate and found some doubles over the years, and now that my collection is complete I am selling doubles.

 

Very cool. Were these available for other years as well?

 

Yes, I can’t tell you which years for certain, I have
about half the ones needed for a full collection for 72.

They sure are cool. So I'm looking for a 64 Wildcat plate (if anyone has one). Otherwise my search starts here. I found this one for a Riviera (quite pricey).

 

i have some 64 skylark and 64 special...look like the 64 Rivs above

AND IN NO WAY ARE THEY WORTH 400 EACH..THATS JUST STUPID..

 

I may just have to make one up for myself... this is what 15-minutes on PowerPoint created. I think I can find a better font and with the red Buick logos, which I did not see online in a quick search, it would look almost passable. Need to round the boarders of the blue outline too. There's no substituting for original of course... the NOS ones are very cool.
