My first car was a 1967 GS 400, original 4 speed, blue exterior with black top. I bought the car in Denver Sept 1977 and sold it March 1978. The car used oil and smoked quite a bit when I owned it but otherwise was a great running car...many good memories driving the car.

I'd love to know who owns the car now or hear about any sightings or experiences with the car from previous owners.

I would pay a finders fee to whomever helps me locate the car.

    Thanks,

    Philip

    Rick,

I don't have a vin# but do have pictures of the car showing the Colorado license plate #, but the pictures date back to 1978-ish.

My car had a console around the shifter and it did not have a posi-rear. I have some great memories of my brother and I racing (he had/still has a 1971 GSX Stage1. I would always lose to him, partly because of the no-posi issue.

I believe the car did not have A/C either (can't recall). Does your car have A/C and is it a non-posi car?

I remember carrying a 4 speed transmission in the trunk of the car and the trans tipped over and leaked gear oil throughout the trunk-had a hard time getting the smell out!

    Rick,

It sounds like it might be the same car. Do you happen to know the history of the car (previous owners, work done to the car)?

Do you have a picture or two that you could send me? My email address is
    philipnearing@gmail.com.

I'll try to locate a picture of the car back in 1977-8 to send to you if you would like.
