I have put a 430 into 67 skylark with factory ac. The problem is the 430 has no fitting on the rear of the intake for a heater valve. one of the vacuum lines coming out of the firewall went to this originally. Can I put an inline control valve in the heater hose that is in the top front of the intake and extend the vacuum line to it ? Would anyone know what one to use ? Thanks, Gary

You should be able to use an in-line vacuum controlled valve (sorry, I don't know any part numbers but there are many), or a manual shutoff valve. The manual valve would guarantee no coolant flow with the AC on. The original system only stopped coolant flow in the MAX AC or RECIRC setting.

    Hope this helps

TODD'S 67 Time for another Buick!

Could you switch the intake manifold to one that has the correct port? I know that's a little more work though.
