Finally found a sport wagon after about a year long search. Its a loaded 67 western car, crappie paint and needs interior but a solid car. Has a 350 engine and 400 switch pitch. Originally green/green, not my fav but car is what I was looking for option wise. A new project to start on, I'm happy!:beer
Boy, I wish I knew you were looking for one. I came across one, from Cali no less, in Illinois earlier this year for $6,500.00. White with a black interior. It's gone now.
That Sport Wagon is going to be beautiful! Love that it has all the best options, tilt, power windows and the biggie...factory A/C! The woodgrain sides really add to this wagon, too. Love it! :TU: David
Enjoy! (Re: 1967 sport wagon) Congrats! If the only thing you can find to complain about is the color - you are doing well! :TU: Enjoy your braggin' wagon! If you are wagon kinda guy, there is no substitute! Cheers, Edouard :beer
Re: Enjoy! (Re: 1967 sport wagon) Yep! I spoted those turn indicators too, pretty rare option.Nice score :beer
The green color has kinda grown on me, might do the original color for the repaint. Ragtops, can you post a pic from the back with the tailgate up. I was told this car has 66 trim on it. Thanks. Speaking of all the options this car still has the pump and parts for the level air suspention, is that rare or what? Has the speed minder too.
I believe the 66 and 67 have the same trim on the Sport Wagon tailgate, don't remember the Special trim. The paint on mine is not quite a perfect match. I gave the paint code from the cowl tag to the PPG paint rep (he sprayed the wagon too) and he said the computers crossed it to this color. The paint is from some late model Mercedes, I could maybe find the paint receipt if you want, maybe. Whwn the wagon was all apart and we were painting the jambs we taped a spot on the side of the cowl and painted over it for a side by side comparison of new and old. The new is just a bit darker and has a touch of gold look to it. I really liked it when I saw it finished.
