Helping a friend. He needs a useable rear end, complete assembly or housing for a 1968 Buick LeSabre. Car is a 350 with automatic transmission. Preferably in north central Indiana or south western lower Michigan. Thanks
Eric Thanks for responding. Is it still under the car or what’s the status? Was/is the car running? What would you want for it? The rear end in my friend’s car appears to have had a bearing freeze up and they continued to drive the car. Where the outer bearing fits into the axle housing is all worn and egg shaped. The Wildcat should be a 1966-70 Buick 9 3/8” rear while the LeSabre should be a 1968 -70 Buick only 8.2” rear.
Have a 69 LeSabre parts car that was a 350 car with rear still under it, In ND and may be too far for him and wouldn't be available until spring when it thaws.
Thank’s for the response, ERICSBUICKS, YNOTBUICK and the info FLYNBUICK. I was pursuing FB Marletplace this evening and found a rear end for FREE that a guy wanted out of the way. Called my friend (not internet savvy) and put him in touch with the guy. Will confirm tomorrow but for now believe the hunt is over! Thanks again!
