Agreed, dang nice looking car. Other then the '63-'64, I like '68-'69s best.

I am big on 66 and 67 Riv's. I love the dashes and interiors better. Well and the bodies grill work etc are perfect...

This is one my favorite 68's. They carry some 66/67 body lines. I love unusual color cars. This car kills the paint color. Wears green so so nice. Beautiful car. Lot's of people out there that do not care for green but I love it on this car.

If this car is as nice in the before and after done right book... Golly what a deal.

I love the '65's and '68-'69 Rivs the best. The '67 Rivs have styling ques from the earlier Rivs all the while starting the transition into the later body styles. You can pretty much litterally see the transition happening on the 67 model. As for the green paint it does wear it extremely well, its like a nice emerald green. I'm not usually a big fan of green cars but this one pulls it off nicely. I think body lines and the overall shape of a car can make or break a certain colour on a car.

    Umm...Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't the engine be a 430 in 1968?
That looks an awful lot like a 455, the GS 455 sticker and the late model HEI notwithstanding...
Pretty car otherwise, but with a major component such as the engine being wrong and not noted, (I didn't see any reference to it) one has to wonder if this was pieced together fairly recently as a flip.

You're 100% correct it did have a 430 in it originally since the 455 wasn't introduced until 1970. But like most it was probably tired, spun a bearing or blown and a 455 was put in its place. Either way it's a sweet car and it's not going for a concours car price probably because it's a Riv, not a GSX and it's no longer numbers matching car.

I like the color and while '66 is my favorite year Riv. I could be very happy owning this car if it's as nice in person as it looks. Would be a blast to drive it to the Nationals. NOM on a Riv. wouldn't bother me.

455 is a great starting point and a good addition. Makes me like it that much better. 455's pull. Perfect choice for replacement motor. I wonder what the quality of the build of the entire car is. Love to see the work that has been done to it.
