I need some help in chosing a Pure Stock Legal exhaust system for a '68 Camaro with a 396/375 engine. A friend of mine bought the Butternut Yellow Camaro that was at the fall Stanton race. Are we stuck with the transverse muffler or is the two separate mufflers in front of the axle legal? Whats the hot set up and who sells it?

IMO, the Flowmaster kit with the rear crossflow works real well, and is very quiet. I have used 3 or 4 of them so far with excellent results. Fit was perfect. 3 were on BB cars, one was a very healthy stock small block in my Z28.

Thanks for the reply Jim. I also got alot of info from Chris Teed. The final decision will come from the owner of the car but at least we have alot to choose from now.
