1968 Buick GS 400 convertible , very rare car. Only 2454 conv gs 400 built in 68. Very few with power windows and ac. This car has both. Also equip with speed alarm and power top. Very orig condition, needs a resto but is a nice driver with only 121,000 orig. miles. Orig color was white, painted many times with red spray can, which actually saved the body. Very little rust

Still think this my old one that I sold back in 1988, however have no way to prove it.

Hard to fathom that 1988 was already 32 years ago!

Looks like this one would be a nice one to finish up...
I'm surprised the 'Lark guys aren't all over this, even though it's a "stepchild", it's got some good potential provided it isn't rotten with a blown motor.

If so .. whats the story on it ? is the frame as solid as the one small shot looks? hows the lower windshield/cowl area and the header bow ? How long did you have it ?

I owned it from 1983 - 1988 so this was a long time ago, however it was a 2 owner car when I bought it from a local dealer that freshly sprayed it resale red. The original color was white and it had the same option load as this one, I hit a snowbank and broke the grill thus put a 69 grill in it from the junkyard as I could not find a 68 at the time, it also had factory wire covers instead of ralleys. The car was super solid then considering it was a North east car and had under 70k miles on it, no frame or rust issues when I had it. Sold it when I lived in MA to a guy in Northern CT, cannot be certain that it is my old one as I do not have the VIN, however a lot of similarities.

Did any1 get a chance to look at this car. Would like to have it if it looks good. I'm all the way in california so obviously I'd have to add about 1800 for shipping onto of price tag
