1968 Riviera Spring Replacement

    Nope. goes slower. If I was to add fuel while the cut outs were open it would go faster. Was a big waste of money. sounds like chit when opened too.

    do you mean like intake and carb. Or jetting

    Whatever it takes to give it more fuel. More carb, more jet until it starts to run fat.

    Why do you have to drop the tank to take the sending unit out?

    Ummmm, Cause I dont wanna cut a hole in the trunk.

    Doesn't a 68 have the same sender access hole in the trunk as a 69?

    Nope. Hole started in 69 to access the electric pump. 68 had mechanical pump on the L side of the engine like any other BBB.

    Interesting, I could of sworn my 68 had it too. My 68 is buried otherwise I would of checked

    Jason, Where exactly are the rear pinch welds?

    bottom of the rocker panel just forward of the rear wheels.
