Looks like it's in nice shape. 400 with duals ,Power seats, power windows, tilt, nine passenger. Been for sale for a month! The misfiled pic of the Ford 6 cyl. could be freaking people out. Ya know you want it!! Why there's a pic of a Ford 6 cyl in a ford, I'm not sure??? Description 400 Auto Full load Originally came with compressor to do air shocks new tires new rear springs Will cruise a 100 MPH all day 9 passenger Had paint 15 years age Appraised by Areo Appraisal at $10,796.00 in 2010 Need money for other projects Serious offers considered
Almost looks like the one I had; mine was green though, same interior, same options load. It didn't have the Ford 6 though, it actually had a nice rebuilt 400 when I sold it.
It doesn't have a Ford six. The seller must have shuffled that pic in by mistake. The Ford six is in a early 60's Ford Falcon or Mustang looking at the fenders and underhood . The Wag has dual exhausts, so I'm guessing it still has the 400.
Why hasn't this car sold by now? Is it the location? I don't think you could find a cheaper Sportwagon.
That's odd, it just read "sale/trade" when I clicked on it the first time, but now it says $6900. Seems like a good deal. I think the issue is wagons would be a tough sale even though we like them.
I just contacted him and asked the price that's why he changed his ad and added a price. $5,200 USD. Now that's cheap!!!. I also mentioned the wrong engine pic was in the ad. and now see he's also selling an old 4 Dr. comet and must have shuffled in the engine pic. Did not look to see if he deleted that as well. Yup, he deleted the 6 cyl ford pic.
Just remember, any mileage showing on that car would be in miles, not kilometres. So it probably has 175K on it, and is probably pretty wore out as a result.
The options alone would be worth it to a guy with a clapped out 68 Skylark or Special. When I had mine it was a pretty useful car, the only issue is I didn't fit very well in it. The power seat would make all the difference for me. I'd probably go look at it if it wasn't for the fact that the wife threatened divorce if I came home with another wagon. (It reminds her of a bad childhood)
