trying to sell this so I can fund my stage 1 build.

1969 pontiac firebird that I have been working on.

it is currently a running driving registered car. I have a clean pink slip in my name. clean and clear title

car is 99% rust free with just minor rust showing on one of the back window channels.

I have 3 engines for it.

I have the original 350 pontiac motor with manual 3 speed transmission

the original 350 is a tired motor that needs a rebuild but is all complete

the original 3 speed trans was working when removed and is all complete with all the hard to find linkage.

I also have a 1969 dated 428 ( XF engine code 370 hp) motor that also needs a rebuild but is complete from air cleaner to pan fan to flex plate.

My plan was to build this very powerful rare 428 motor and add a 4 speed trans which I do not have at this time.

The next motor and the one that is currently in it now is a Chevy 350 with a th400 trans. car has ran a best of 8.289 @ 85.79 mph with this combo spinning the tires at irwindale drag strip. in 1/4 mile times it would be a 12.99

This motor was from a race car project that was started in the late 80's and never completed. how ever owner said he broke it in 500 miles in his vette and than stored in the race car in a garage till I bought it in september

Motor was built by Blairs speed shop.
they had 3 engine combos that were offered
mild hot and wild this motor was the hot motor.

it came from a 69 camaro SS I dont know much about it but the cam sounds lumpy.
it has new starter, new water pump, new t stat, rebuilt 100 amp alternator. new HD fan clutch rebuilt power steering pump. new valve cover gaskets. new fuel pump. the holley 750 was new but old so I had it rebuilt. new radiator

The motor was just tuned by Engine dynamics in Baldwin park ca.

it has headers with new flowmaster exhaust. holley dominator intake Mallory ignition

The th400 trans that is in it now was just rebuilt with all HD parts and a shift kit. it has a B &m shifter and a 3200 stall converter. less than 100 miles on trans.

this car comes with 2 rearends and two sets of leaf springs.

it comes with the numbers matching 10 bolt none posi with 3.23 gears stock leaf springs

the rear that is in it now is a freshly built 69 camaro 12 bolt posi with 4.10 gears. added the hd leaf springs

has new brake hoses and brakes.

comes with both trans mission support crossmembers one that is in it for the th400 and the one to convert it back to the 4 speed or auto.

I bought new urethane complete body bushing kit for it.

I have installed the bushings from the subframe back.

I have the rest of the bushings to do the front suspension.

I added new drag shocks on all 4 corners.

also added sub frame connectors a must for F body cars

the car sits on center line rims with new tires.

it also has auto meter volt gage water temp gage and oil psi gage

    also has after market tach

the body has two dents in the back that need to be fixed and a few small dings here and there. Other than that the body is straight.

the body is in original paint. Green color with black interior. other than the small minor rust on the rear window this car is rust free. rockers floors and trunk are in perfect shape.

I have a few new parts that have not been installed. Grills, weather stripping and such.

this car can be put back to original very easily or can be updated with the 428 and a 4 speed.

this is a none ac car with almost no options but all the original parts are in good shape and in working order.

I can text pictures or answer questions any time.

    Hector show contact info

I am asking $18,500.00 complete with all the parts mentioned

or 17,500.00 with out the 428 motor

or 16,000.00 with out the chevy motor and trans and 12 bolt.

or 15,000.00 with out the chevy motor trans and 12 bolt and no 428 motor.

one of the nicest rust free examples I have seen of a first gen firebird ever.

Thanks for your time and consideration. here is a link to a few videos I made of it.

Hector - I'd be interested in the Pontiac 428 engine. I can use it for one of my current Firebirds. I've got too many vehicles to consider another project,
