Hello Everyone, I am helping my female cousin sell the car. Her longtime boyfriend & my friend of many years past away back in June & willed this car to her. I honestly think she would like to keep it, but she knows nothing about cars other than she went to the cruises with Ted! He owned this car for a very long time, I can remember cruising with him 15 years ago, it was ALWAYS garaged & very well kept. If it got rained on in the last 15 years, it could not have been more than once or twice. Had it not been for the fact that I just shelled out a very large chunk of cash on the XLR-V that I had been looking for, I would buy this car & add it to my collection. Ironically I received my car right around the time Ted passed. 1969 Skylark Custom Convertible 16,ooo miles on the odometer, but it most probably has been rolled over 350 4bbl Auto Power Steering & Brakes Buckets, console Manual windows & locks Dual exhaust some dress up pieces on the engine Michelin Radials look to be almost new. $15,000.00 or best offer Vehicle has been Professionally Appraised @ $15,000 & I believe after giving it a very close inspection & taking pictures today, it is well worth it. The car is very clean inside & out & has been graded a strong #3. Unfortunately She lives 50 miles from me or I would have put it on the lift to take underneath pictures better than the ones I did. The floor, frame & trunk are extremely clean & the body is straight. It was repainted many years ago & the paint still shines very nicely. Among the pictures, you will see the scanned Appraisal information, as well as some work my cousin just had done in the last couple of days as Ted was sick for a while & the car sat for probably 6 months in the garage before he passed. Not listed in the parts is a new Gold battery from Advanced Auto, just days ago. Engine was flushed & car was inspected at a repair shop as well. Engine runs great, starts right up with no smoke & revs nicely. I am available to answer any questions as best as I can, unfortunately I do NOT know if any internal engine work has been done or not & neither does my cousin. Many know me as a Quality Specialized Transporter of Hot Rods, Customs & Exotics. I will not take a chance on damaging my reputation as one of the best in the business by lying to anyone showing an interest. I will answer any questions a truthfully as my knowledge of the car allows! The car is located in Columbia Station, Ohio & as a transporter, if you are from out of state I will be glad to give a cash on delivery price quote (Open or Enclosed) Please keep in mind that I am booked 3-8 weeks in advance all year round, but storage is not a problem until I can deliver it. Thank You & God Bless Bill Squires(owner) Bill's Auto Works (216)832-8697 NO TEXTS billsautoworks1@aol.com I am having a problem finding where the scanned Appraisal papers & the receipts ended up in my computer, but will work on getting all that posted tomorrow!
Thank you Sir, He passed in June & this is the first time it has been advertised. As I said in the ad...She knows nothing about cars, so she was waiting for me to be in town long enough to take the pics & advertise it for her. She did manage to take it to one cruise & one show. I know Ted was smiling down on those days! I still may buy it! LOL God Bless Bill
