Could someone with access to a parts manual please look up the original Buick applications for the 1970 1233464 metering valve? This is the barrel-shaped valve that mounts under the master cylinder. I'm reasonably certain it was used on several different GM vehicles equipped with front disk and rear drum brakes, but I don't have a Buick parts manual to confirm the original applications.
My parts catalog only covers models through 1973. Group 4.690 Valve-Bracket pressure metering 70. All A (disc brakes) 1233464 This part number is not listed for any previous or subsequent (through Nov. 1973) Buick applications. If I am not mistaken, the same part number was used on Chevelle in 1969, and Tempest and Grand Prix in 1969-70. Oldsmobile F-85 may have used this part number as well 1969-early 1970.
