Thank you to all who helped on the search. Today I bought a 1970 GS 455. Original paint 23,000 mile painted roof car. Way more car than I ever hoped to find. It is Easter Sunday is all I can say! Will get you guys more info when I can. Scott .

1970 GS 455 Fire Red / white painted roof. Freemont production , stayed in California. Black Deluxe bench seat interior with fold down armrest. F41 , 15 inch WG wheels with the original spare . Rallye wheel , A/C , P/S , Tachometer and left remote mirror. Original paint but that might change , might get some lacquer touch up. 23,000 miles . Scary original condition.. Thank you for the great forum you all have here. This is GS number seven I think?

Saw that car personally at the nats. Very nice original car you bought. I've really come to appreciate survivor cars and I think that one is one of the best examples I've laid eyes on.

Thank you for the compliment Sir. I have recently learned to appreciate how unique these cars are also. Every time you see an unrestored original car at a show come out of the trailer the judges are all over it.

The GS came in today from Texas. Super rust free California and an interesting original car.

I got the Sloanlongway Report today. Tyrrell Buick was the selling dealer. All the good stuff on the car is as ordered too. F41, W02 , D33 , WB8, N31 and California emissions. Thanks Mr. H !

Car is sweet and drove awesome (I am the passenger in the picture of the car accepting the Survivor Award at 2014 GS Nationals in BG). Eat off that car my friend. In todays modern era of shiny paint and frame off restorations ( i love them as well not critical or condescending) it is awesome that a well preserved big block car albeit a GS can still remain in such awesome condition almost 50 years later). Congrats on the purchase, few of them around that original or that clean anymore!:bglasses:
