Rich, The front baffle for a 70 is shaped different than a 71-72. The lower section of the bumper is the difference. Merry Christmas, John
I am aware of that John, trying to open up for any original baffle in any condition and hardware that can be found. Open to damaged or broken baffle as well.
Rich, I may have an original 70 baffle. I don't remember if it's the early or late version but will check it out. I may even have some of the clips for it. I figure you know the 1970 clips are unique and very hard to find. The center brace is just a solid rod with both ends flattened and a hole in each end. I have an original on my car I can measure for you. That should be really easy to repro exactly. I think Ken Lisk has one of the original Carriage bolts for the front Spoiler. I bet he would measure his if asked nicely. Give me a few weeks to dig this stuff out. I probably will not get to do this until after the holidays. I also owe you some pictures of the nice original 70 GSX wheel that I have. I will get them to you in the same time period. Duane
Duane, I will be wanting something for my car eventually. I was wondering what type of material they are made of? I don't need one that belongs on a show car and if I could possibly have someone make a template,I could try to locate some materials to make one out of. I'd like to see a pic of the clips too if anyone has one..
I know a couple people, including myself, that would like to see pics of those clips AND the correct bolts. :TU:
