Hello all I'm looking for an accelerator pedal that will fit a 70 electra. I really only need the rubber piece/pad that attaches to the floor: as the slots where it attaches to the mounting balls are stretched/broken. Any help will be appreciated.
Well.I do have 3 different gas pedals,as to the part you need,a picture of it would help a lot.The rubber that goes to the floor,I have about a 10 of them, mostly for the 70-72 GS or Skylark, some are for the Big cars, but I never put anything to tell me what or where they belong.Bruno.
Here's what I have, as you see the bottom rubber holes are busted out! Hope 1 of the 10 will work lol.
The 3 different big car pedals I have are different then the one you have. They do not ave those 2 holes at all,and a little different shape.Sorry cannot help you.Bruno.
thanks for letting me know if you run across some dont hesitate 2 let me know! Thanks for tracing out!
Wonder if 65 -70 Impala and other BOP B cars might have a similar accel pedal Just a thought. The Impala one should be available via the Reproduction market
Cadillac used that style into the ‘80s for sure, maybe into the ‘90s in the rear wheel drive DeVilles, Fleetwoods and Broughams. Not sure if they’re identical, but worth a look. Patrick
I thought? the last year for floor ball stud mount on a GM accel pedal was early 70s but am no expert on exact fitments.
If it helps any, it looks like the GM number was 1386006, fits ‘69 and ‘70 all B and C with power brakes. Not sure why nanual brakes would be different, but... Patrick
