Not mine, this is a lead. When only the best will do... https://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-Buick...004488?hash=item4b5022ca48:g:OcQAAOSwWlFbqmY2
Matt . The only thing that comes up is the Parts Place listing for their NEW REPO tack where 150 have been sold. The link doesn't show anything about a 1978 Bill of Sale .
Not sure what's happening on your end, but we are seeing an original tach with the original box and papers
Guys..I have to question authenticity. I have an original IN dash 70 Tachometer, same part numbers on the back, however, the letters on this sellers tach are NOT TALL (see first pix) like 70 Tach should be. Som'n just not adding up. NEW box or not. Paperwork or not. . . just say'n. Number sizes are incorrect. Check out my pix and see if you agree. . . . ALSO notice how the spacing is incorrect twixt the 2 and 5 on the 25, and 3 and 5 on 35, and 45 etc, on HIS? vs mine! Wheelz, Tampa Bay
His was just bought at a later date, they superseded the old pointed lens tach like yours with the flat one. Happens all the time still
The 8/78' date is the expiration date of the buyers credit card not the date of sale, I didn't see a hand written date on the invoice.
Dont need to see a date, the pointed lens was stopped mid year, so any tach bought after then would almost positively be the updated flat lens Would have been the same If you ordered an overflow tank after mid/late 70 you would more than likely get a black lid tank and not the clear one that would have been on the car originally
Dennis, I thought that Buick changed from the tall printed numbers to smaller numbers mid year '70 (and thereafter for '71-'72).
