I asked the manufacturer they said it won’t work do you know of anyone that used one or have you used one yourself is there a lot of modifications
I think the difference between the two is the front-to-back measurement between the rear seat mounting edge and the back edge where the package tray slides under the body. If memory serves me correct the rear shelf on a Chevelle is much longer then the ones on the Buicks. If you look closely at the pic of the sheet metal there seems to be a lot of extra metal between the speaker holes and that piece where the shelf slides under. You can probably fix the top of the Buick shelf with that piece, but it is not a direct bolt on by any stretch of the imagination. Duane
The 68-72 Chevelle and 68-72 Skylark rear windows did not interchange. In hindsight, wonder why they (GM) didn't use the same roof and rear window across all divisions for the A body? Buick, Chevrolet, Oldsmobile and Pontiac. Might have saved them some money.
The 68-69 rear windows are different because the tulip panel between the trunk lid and the back window are different. The Buick rear window goes up in the middle, while the Chevelle rear window is straight along the bottom. The steel roof is at least the same for both brands in 70-72. Don't know about the 68-69 cars. Duane
It is different along the back edge, where the glass sits. You might notice it more if you had a rear glass from a 70-72 Chevelle, and a rear glass from a 70-72 Skylark/GS. They are different.
