With really really nice original 70 Stage1's trading/selling at auctions for 90 to 100K what would make this GSX worth 77k? I know it's a GSX not a Stage 1 but still. I would think 50K or less would be reasonable. Am I in the ballpark with my thinking? Tom

Probably closer than 77k Tom with the limited info we have to go on

Wonder if they would consider a trade for a turn key '68 GS400 convertible plus some cash:rolleyes: But no where near 100K.

Realistically, what do you think a fair cash price would be or don't we want to discuss that? 35-45K as is (if its drivable)? Not that I could go even that high.

I'd like to be into it for 36k or thereabouts.

If you take the selling price of a similar one that's concours restored then subtract the costs involved in getting it restored, the seller would probably have to give you money.

Like it has been said, if it is road worthy I would buff it out, and keep it as is and drive it (you can relate the that Jason)..

At 15 years old my California-only GSX had a few rust issues. This one has rust too, in those same places.

Engine has been aerosol overhauled. Some spray on the brake booster hose (+heater hoses) and the lines to carb are red. ??

I saw it at $99K and am fairly sure the price had changed in the title of the ad when I looked again and posted. But you are correct, it says $99k again now.

I saw the ad at noon today and it was at 77K. I guess the guy is flip flopping back and forth on the price.

Me too (no hashtag:)). When I posted "about 2/3 of that price", it was $77k.

I think that's the exact range depending what a further inspection revealed.
