You need to take that sticker off. The factory installed battery didn't have that. The over the counter replacements did though.
The 67/70 two piece rotors didn't have the groove, or the ones I have don't, unless they have been turned out, they are thin http://www.v8buick.com/index.php?threads/nos-2-piece-disk-brake-rotors.340227/
Hugger is correct, the two piece rotors did not have grooves. The grooves are in the rotor surface to keep the outer pad locked in. Pad movement equaled brake noise.. We are also dealing with a 49 year old car that has had Service parts installed on it. There is no way in any attempt that this car will or should be perfect or assembly line .. Batteries , shocks , belts and hoses will have been replaced. Due to the fact Ames Pontiac has more parts for this Buick than anyone else tells me that I am fighting a never win situation on parts.. Thanks for the help.
You should paint the fuel pump and water pump. And ditch the cogged belts! The car is too nice for those
It looks nice! I see something. The bracket that attaches to the thermostat seems to be bent forward too far to support the breather. There were 2 brackets, a 350 and a 455. Maybe it's the wrong bracket? Often, somebody will lean on it and bend them.
