I (fairly) recently bought three sets of 70 headlight bezels in different sales (Sellers) because I generally do not see so many for sale .... but that's just my observation.
I have done the same thing, and let's face it, 70 is the desired year. Someone will step up soon and snag those, they are in pretty good shape. Let's get through the covid, the false economy and maybe when we emerge out the other side, even a nicely restored 70 skylark will have a higher level value. If not, then at least for the individual who sourced out nice looking parts from gs fred lol and did a nice job restoring some nice optioned cars with great trim packages and options.
the 70 Headlight Bezel has a "tail" on it heading down and in toward the grill. The 71-72 Bezels are square.
Yes. The pitting can be repaired then re-chrome the bezels.. Or just fill and sand smooth like a regular body panel and paint them.
