The window sticker shows the optional "High Performance" 350 4bbl .... at 285hp. I thought that was the regular 350 4bbl's rating? I know the 4bbl was optional, but it appears adding a 4bbl, I guess, made it "High Performance" in Buick's Marketing Dept.'s eyes.

I thought the "High Performance" label would be reserved for the ('70) "Hi-compression" (10.25:1) 350 4bbl at 315hp? Huh.

That was the middle option of 350s. 260 hp for the 2 barrel carb, 285 hp for the4 barrel and 315 hp for the Hi Compression engine that was available for Skylarks and standard in GS350s.

Wasn't this car a board members? He was selling it a few years back. I remember the color and standard two tone interior.

Going through the comments at B-A-T, the driver side quarter was replaced in 1973. Others also complained about the fit of the passenger side door.

I saw it in this sub-forum when I had posted from my phone ….. but couldn't find it when I went back. Not sure if it was deleted as a duplicate or not.
