I am finalizing pricing on a 1971 Buick GS 455 Car. I am looking to validate if it may be a stage 1 car. The car was built in Fremont CA. The Engine code on the build sheet is SK. The reason I am asking is it will affect my final offer regarding price if it is a Stage 1 car. Either way I will be purchasing the car. Any information you can provide would be great.
Your build sheet shows that it has the L74 engine option. That is a GS455, not a Stage 1. If it had the Stage 1 option, it would be an L75 code.
That's the red 4 speed car in WA. There is another thread on here about it. http://www.v8buick.com/index.php?threads/1971-stick-car-in-wa.296208/
