Not mine, just forwarding the information from the seller! ;)

I should have clarified that in my response............

Anybody know if this car sold? I see the Craigslist ad is removed. I'm pretty sure this is my old car I sold out of Loveland, Colo. about 22 years ago. Anybody know how to contact the owner, I'd like to talk to him. Larry.

Yes, 509. Spokane is right on the border, so if he lives on Idaho side it might be 208.

Do you know where it came from before you got it? The more I thought about it the more I was wondering if it was actually my friend's old car.

The car was sold new in Denver, I got it from Mike Smiley out of Greeley, Colo. who bought from Phillip Nearing who found it in somebody's backyard in Denver in the early 90's. Phillip put a beautiful paint job on it himself, which is probably still on it today. When I bought the car in 95 or 96 from Mike,it had a real strong 455 in it, the car was called the "Mean Green Machine by Mike's wife. I took it to the first "Buicks at Bristol in 1997 and ran 12.55 right off the trailer,we made a few more runs and kept getting slower and slower and then decided to check the plugs and sure enough I smoked 3 of them! Then I decided to set the timing [from running at high altitude] and the car picked back up again. The next weekend we where at Bowling Green for the Nationals and the car ran similar times.I got a big picture of it coming off the line at Beech Bend from the track photographer that now hangs in the garage. The 3rd weekend in a row we where back home in Colorado and raced at Bandimere Speedway where the car slowed down to 13.33's in the cool mountain air. I made it to quarter finals at that race [my best showing ever] and lost to a damn sportbike that was 2 seconds faster. I hope I didn't bore anybody with this old story but I did have some good times with the Mean Green Machine years ago! Larry.
