I will post this guy in cars for sale right now. If someone wants a big project here it is. If no one is "spirited" enough to carry this project ahead I will relist it into parts section.
Car is located in Kamloops BC Canada. For everything including both engines $14500 US or with just the 71 runner 455 $12500. I am also open to a trade in a lesser project and cash or trade up with this car and cash. Or if you have a bunch of your own parts and just want the basics I can deduct from those prices

The car has its numbers matching turbo 400 (rebuilt) and rear end (rebuilt and posi'd with 3:08 gears). Engine was long gone. I have a choice of a 71 coded 455 unmolested from a 71 Electra in good running order or a Chris Skaling built 72 455 done right but mostly stock with a T/A 212 cam and B4B and 71 Rochester.
This is a 71 455 non stage 1 convertible in cortez gold with parchment split bench interior. GM of Canada document shows its born with options and pedigree. The car is very complete with its original parts and lots of restoration and new parts.
Body-The worst is it needs a floor replacement from the back seat to the toe board.
2 sets of doors, 2 sets of fenders, N O S rad support, original GS hood air cleaner assembly with good hood scoops and nice nose piece( no crack), 2 replacement quarter panel skins. Trunk pan is nice. Mint inner fenders. All the original emblems, markers, bright work in nice shape. New Parts place GS grill. clean front and rear bumper cores, repop tail light lenses, mint head light bezels, sport mirrors and fan shroud,
Chassis - frame has been blasted repainted in chassis black and checked for square. Steering and suspension is all new and in place. Boxed arms and sway bar are included. Body bushing kit included. All new brake and fuel lines and complete disc brake setup. Redone 15x7 rallies with N O S center caps on new 255/60/15 T/a's
Interior- all new Legendary upholstery including seat upholstery, door cards, and quarter window panels
weather seal kit including convertible top kit, dash pad, clean gage bezel and gages, radio, all the wiring.

All the supporting pieces are there as well and would be inventoried with the car. If I have it with the car, you get it. I have to dig up the paper work and of course would be with the car when purchased. The car parted out on paper would bring around $19000 US

I'm guessing that picture is of the available 455 still sitting in the 71 Electra.

Sorry for the confusion on pictures of the donor motor in the Electra.
