He has no documentation. Owner claims the drivetrain has been rebuilt but can't say if it is a BB or OW or some other trans in the car. He put floors in the car since he got it. It's a Cortez gold car built in Kansas City and the current owner bought the car 5 years ago and imported it to Canada. It had chrome mirrors on it when he got it and those are firebird mirrors on the car.

    Dave,

He says it is numbers matching Stage 1 engine, do you know if this is true?

The car did not sell new in Canada so GM of Canada docs are out.

Seller has never heard of SLOAN.

He claims it has matching number Stage 1 block and big valve Stage 1 heads. Hopefully that is true.

He installed an Edelbrock intake and carb when the engine was rebuilt. He kept the ones that came with the car but does not know if they are original to the car.

When I asked about the BB or OW code T400 he claimed that no tag was found on the trans when it was rebuilt and he did not find a VIN stamp or he did not know where to look.

Rear end has been changed to 12 bolt Chevy with 4.10 gears.

Cowl tag shows it was a black vinyl top car new.

A/C blows cold but seller commented that the switch is finicky.

14" rims on the car. Rad was also recently rebuilt.

Seller adds that this car is his summer time daily driver and has dings and scratches etc. There is evidence of earlier body work and paint mismatch.

The seller has a title for the car from the State he purchased the car in (SD I think)?
