Hey guys - Selling off my 72 Electra after 6 years. Getting married in 2016 and need to scrape together whatever cash I can to pay for it. I am the second owner of the car - bought it from an elderly gentleman from NJ. It had a cracked dash, cracked block, rusted out bottom, etc. etc. etc. Thanks to the resources on this site, I was able to get replacements and put them in place. Is it a combo of a couple cars? it has a 71 front end and 71 rear bumper but 72 taillights & trunklid

Ok so I feel like I'm picking over the remains of someone elses dead dreams by doing this. How many miles does the engine now have on it? Any mechanical issues to speak of? Is it as simple as put a new battery in it and go or does it need anything else? I looked at the thread from where you got the engine and it looks like a strong, well put together motor.
