    Russ, the motor came from Alan and he is a skilled Buick man, so I am sure it is a good motor.

    It could, but only if there is no stoppage. I just cannot 100% guarantee it. For whatever reason, the car burps and stalls when idling AND in drive. Been trying to figure out what it is, but as you may have read from my previous posts, my knowledge of the issue is limited at best.

    The car is up and running. The car wasn't starting because of a bad condenser. Got rid of the points and put in a PerTronix 1181LS Ignitor. The car needs some TLC - some body work, carb clean, etc. - but if you're just going to get it for the motor, then you're good to go.
