Not mine. Am I nuts in thinking this is intriguing? https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1104156916428693/
Been for sale for months on craigslist was $8500 plain Jane interior no options bucket seats kills interest
If someone goes to check it out, check out Letchworth State Park too. Really cool place - the “Grand Canyon of the East”.
Interesting options, or lack of them. It's the kind of car that in 71 would have "no-park" wipers. Assuming it's built that way, it's the first 72 I've seen with Impact strips delete, yet it has the 72 only "step guard" around the license plate and a vinyl roof. Being a legit Stage car, was limited slip and disc brakes mandatory?. If nothing else, this was a very specifically ordered car. Yeah, I'm intrigued too.
What years get the machined ears below the diff cover like an 8.5 GM 10 bolt but with the cutout rear cover. My 70 does not have those, its round as describe in my research. Maybe i'm just not familiar enough with my Buick rear diffs. Thanks Gary
If I read your question right, 71 and 72 in Skylarks and Cutlasses only for that style/width rear..can have a scalloped or round (ish) cover, and some oldsmobiles didnt have that lug configuration on the housing. That type of 8.5/8.6 rear carried on in one form or another until 2010 or better?
