selling a 1972 Buick gs350 which we purchased a few years back for wife as a project to restore. She has changed her mind and has other plans. Some things have been done, and many parts that were missing accumulated that can go with car for restoration or not, open to discuss. For starters Car is from Ohio, and has rust. Roof is mostly solid except lower glass channel and was painted with por 15, as was trunk floor, underside of gs hood, other areas showing rot, and rot has not continued there. New trunk lid installed. Needs complete floor pans and drivers door replaced, lower fenders patched, rear lower quarter on passenger side has holes. Trunk has a few smaller holes last I looked but again was treated with por 15. Bought car not running on flats with seized brakes etc. It was supposed to have a fresh rebuilt engine and transmission, and after installing a new carburetor 7030244 and a can of gas under hood, fresh tune up, etc it ran really well, smooth with no smoke, and transmission shifted well also. It had no brakes mind you so I didn’t drive it but around the block a time or two before I put it up on blocks to replace the fuel tank and all brakes. Has new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, hardware, drums, new calipers,hoses, pads, rotors and bearings. Put used tires on some rallies I had. Passenger front brake tube broke off at line and found gas tank strap supports rusty on one side, and haven’t touched it since due to being so busy running auto shop. Car can sell as is or with parts acquired to fix. Partial list of parts acquired as follows. Front and rear seats with fold down armrest. Used interior door panels. New headliner and vinyl top All missing chrome trim for around front and rear glass. Headliner bows, interior welting Used dash wiring harness/fuse box 72 gs grille in driver condition Rocker mouuldings (gs) Drivers door in decent shape. Carpet set New door sill plates New gas tank and sending unit Single side floor patch (needs all) Car originally was by vin tag a sunburst yellow car with white interior, but parts I’ve accumulated for interior are black new, and dark green or brown used and was going to vinyl dye to match. Car has a perfect black dash pad and was a factory a/c car. I have a good bit of the a/c system parts I’ve accumulated too. Will be able to put wheels back on and lower it on to the ground and help load it on a trailer. If your willing to invest a few hours time it could be running and driving off a gas can under hood and exhaust pouring through holes in the floor as I had it before.
