I found a 1972 Riviera GS that has a #'s matching 455 and original tranny with 87,000 original miles on it nearby. The car has been family owned since it's purchase in 1972 and is in average condition. Original misty blue color, black interior with just two tears in the drivers seat that are repairable......rest of the interior is perfect. Car runs and drives out perfect. Body is straight, all chrome is on the car and straight, paint is a little faded.

    His asking price is $3,500.

Is this a good deal? What do similar cars sell for.....I guess I'm asking what range in price would be normal for this car.

    Thanks for any feedback. :bglasses:

Sounds like a pretty fair deal as long as there is no deep rust, let me know if you pass on it, I'd be interested. Good luck!!

1972 GS? It has Stage 1 one heads or correctly stated the big valve heads. Great find. :TU:
