    Wow, if I would still live in US , I would be all over this car.
    I was not aware, that so many different Opels have been sold in US (Manta, Ascona, Kadett). Funny, I am learning about it reading a Buick forum :)

    you forget to mention the rekord and the gt
    the manta rallye in the advertisement was only available in the us
    there also was a manta luxus, just like buick had the lesabre luxus or century luxus

    Damn dude stole my idea! I still have the 215 olds engine dad had from the 70’s I was going to put in my Opel Manta in 1979.
    Dad advised against it :)

    I see (actually hear about) a lot of people putting those s10 t5's behind a 215. I was told by Mark from D&D NOT to use a t-5 that was originally behind a 4or6 cylinder motor because of the gearing. I have a chart that shows all the different t5's used in production over the years and there's a huge difference in the gearing from 4 to 6 to 8 cylinder engines.

    I searched a long time to find a t-5 that was from a firebird or Camaro with a V8 engine.
