This Not Mine....... https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/d/seattle-1972-opel-manta-rallye-215-buick/7096620288.html
Wow, if I would still live in US , I would be all over this car. I was not aware, that so many different Opels have been sold in US (Manta, Ascona, Kadett). Funny, I am learning about it reading a Buick forum
you forget to mention the rekord and the gt the manta rallye in the advertisement was only available in the us there also was a manta luxus, just like buick had the lesabre luxus or century luxus 1975 manta dr jekyll advertisement:
Damn dude stole my idea! I still have the 215 olds engine dad had from the 70’s I was going to put in my Opel Manta in 1979. Dad advised against it
I see (actually hear about) a lot of people putting those s10 t5's behind a 215. I was told by Mark from D&D NOT to use a t-5 that was originally behind a 4or6 cylinder motor because of the gearing. I have a chart that shows all the different t5's used in production over the years and there's a huge difference in the gearing from 4 to 6 to 8 cylinder engines. I searched a long time to find a t-5 that was from a firebird or Camaro with a V8 engine. Keith
