1972 Skylark 8 track player

hi,

I’m restoring my 1972 GS455 and recently obtained a nice looking, but not sure it’s working, 8 track player that gets mounted to the underside of the dash.

Does anyone know the exact location to mount the player? Seems it’s located just above transmission hump but want to make sure.

I think directly above the hump.

 

Did you get the mounting bracket with it? If not they're like hens teeth!
I made a bracket for mine

 

Yes, I got mounting brackets as well. Made sure of that
