1972 Twin Turbo Buick Skylark for sale. Not a GS or original big block car. Perfect body painted in PPG Speed Green, Billet Specialties wheels powder coated black as well as bumpers and door handles. Engine is 455 Cubic inch Buick engine bored .38 over with JE pistons, JE rings, Crower Rods. The block is studded with ARP studs and Cometics Head gaskets and has a TA 7 quart pan as well as an ATI harmonic balancer. The cam is .550 lift and 236 intake and 226 on the exhaust on a 114 lobe center. It is 8.82 to 1 compression ratio and has a TA Stage 2 Track Eliminator Cylinder Head, T &D roller rockers as well as TA SP1 Intake with a Greg Gessler Level 4 Maximum Effort port job on the heads as well as larger valves. The intake is completely ported by Gessler as well. I have all specs on heads including flow numbers for anyone seriously interested. The timing cover is TA Performance’s so it is modified for high flow, etc.

Important note: The short block will need to be gone through as the car smokes from the passenger side and it is most likely a collapsed ring land or another issue causing oil to get past and produce the issue. I knocked off enough money from the price to completely replace the short block although it should just be minimal parts to deal with. Car does run and still hauls ass, but I stopped running it to make sure I don’t hurt anything else.

The car has a CSU 950 Blow Thru Carb that is good for close to 1400 HP. The carb hat is by CSU as well. The turbo system is comprised of two 66 MM Garrett Turbos with .81 Exhaust housings. Two Tial 38 mm wastegates and a 60mm Tial Blow off valve. It has an E Boost 2 Boost controller and MSD 7531 for electronics as well as an MSD HVC 2 coil, MSD wires and MSD Ready to Run Pro Billet Distributer. The Intercooler is a Bell that will support 2000 HP and the exhaust manifolds are Stainless. The transmission is a Rossler Terminator 4 Turbo 400 with a Rossler Transbrake, Ultra Bell, Pro Mod sprag with a Precision Performance Products shifter. The flywheel is a JW and it has a transmission blanket and external cooler. The torque convertor is a Continental 3200 rpm stall converter and the car is incredibly street friendly. This is a car that you can drive all day and then dominate at the track. The driveshaft is a Strange 3 1/2 inch driveshaft and the rear end is a Moser 9 with 3.50 gears. The brakes are Wilwood discs all the way around with dual calipers in the rear. The exhaust is dual 3 1/2 inch with Dynomax Race Magnum mufflers and isn't too loud for street driving. The radiator is a Ron Davis Radiator with dual Spall Fans. The car has an 8.50 Certified (will need to be recertified as they expire) cage in it with swing outs. Car also has reinforcements boxing the frame below the car and is incredibly solid and stable on the street and track. You can go down the strip with only one hand on the steering wheel turning a 9 second quarter mile and it goes dead straight. There is also a custom transmission cross member fabricated for the car as well. The car has a Wolf Race Craft complete rear suspension as well as QA1 adjustable shocks. The fuel system is comprised of a Magnafuel 500 pump with Aeromotive A 1000 Boost Referencing regulator and -12 line being fed from a 20 gallon cell with GM sending unit. The front seats are Kirkey's and the rear seats are factory and black. No door panels in car, but has green carpet in front and haven't gotten around to installing rear carpet yet. There is a custom parachute mount with a Stroud chute. The car runs on Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials and are 295/65/15. This car has everything you could want in a drag car with street car manners. At only 10 lbs of boost with 5000 rpm shifts the car has gone 6.27 in the 1/8 at 112 mph with a 1.40 60 foot with a launch that wasn't too aggressive. You can run it all day on pump gas, but I always put in good gas at the track. I have all receipts. I have over $70,000 in parts alone in this car without labor. $40k. If any questions, call me at 760-703-4627. My name is David. If car does not sell, I will be parting the car out, but looking to keep the car together if at all possible. If I were to keep it, I would put the aluminum block in the car, turn the boost up and you would have the power to run high 8’s in a full weight car and drive it anywhere. Will put prices for individual parts as well as rolling chassis at a later date if car doesn’t sell within the next month.

Sorry. Misread that. .81 exhaust on turbo. I read and thought you meant exhaust pipes.
