Having owned 38 Mustangs,6 SS BB Chevelles, and 3 GS455 Buick Skylarks, I can say that the Buicks are the BEST of the 3. They just don't have the resale of either the Mustang or Chevelle. WHY I don't know!!!
I currently have a VERY nice 1970 GS455 Skylark with original motor and transmission. If it was a Chevelle SS BB in the same condition it would be worth AT LEAST $10K more!!!
The 16K mile 73 GS would probably sell fairly reasonable. After 72 the value drops like a rock!!!!!!

Has a Buick GSCA decal on the windshield. Someone on the board must be familiar with this one. Very nice.

Yep, a few other things also strike me as odd. The woodgrain instrument panel is from a Regal. The gas tank/axle/sway bar are painted black. Could be that someone decided to personalize the car.
Based on the appearance of the interior I tend to believe it has 16,000 miles. Repro parts are not available to duplicate the original interior. Also a Flint build with no rust showing on the frame might indicate low miles.

Appears to have original front tires.

Looks the same as 72 heratige green. My frist Suncoupe and Steve Caruso's are that color also the only other 72 Stage 1 Suncoupe is that color. It used to belong to Dave Newton. The color is muted by the dust but it is a brilliant green

Factory doesn't show it for 73 but it looks like nothing in the 73 paint chips I found on Marco's site

It might be , the color sample I am looking at is very dark . I am going by a car I actually owned . Look at this color on a 72

That 72 looks lighter than the 73 Green.

If your referring to the pics on ebay I agree but the 72 is under bright lights and the 73 in in a dark garage with a lot of dust on it. Maybe since the 72 and 73 colors are different name they might still be the same color. The color chart I looked at is so dark both colors look black. I do know that convert is Heritage Green poly which I believe is the same color on that 73 but as with anything I can be wrong. Just ask my wife!

Quite a bit of rust and missing parts for a car with such low miles. Maybe it was an outside car for a while. It needs someone to give it some love and bring it back to new again. Looks like a reasonably easy job to do it.

So is Jade green poly different than Heritage green poly? Looks the same to me. I personally like that color. I imagine that someone just changed the original breather . A lot of owners did that stuff back in the day

Reserve is $25k :dollar: which I believe is more than has been paid for any 1973 Stage 1 so far.

nice car-but-in this economy, it will never get close to 25k. Not saying it isn't WORTH IT-the market is still telling us what these are worth, and I really like them and hope he gets it, but I doubt it.
