75 gs's were basically a paper tiger gs. no real performance. just gm's last gasp.

Yep that blue one! I've seen that one for sale in 2007. I contacted the owner about this car. Later he told me he sold the car to someone in Rotterdam I believe. He made a deal with the new owner. The new owner promissed to fix it up so he let it go, and he could come and see the car anytime and take it for a trip around the block. I quess he had a hard time letting that car go.

That silver one in Sweden that 75Riv posted...wow what a beauty! :kodak:
Imagine that with some black GS striping! The factory paint of mine was this silver color. Must have looked great. And damn it I need some rallye wheels too! :beer

My fellow Dutch-man on here, Lennard, who's fixing up a '75 is planning to drop in a 455 (his came with a 350).
We both have the 8.5 10 bolt posi's though :Brow:

I'm already educating myself into ring and pinions and shims and such. I want to go to a 3.23 ratio because of the mild street 350 I'm going to drop in. Right now it has 2.73 rear gears (mine came with the 231 V6)

    From factory...ONLY a 350 or 231 V6 was available No 455...

How is the rebuilding of the registry website going? I really hope to see the whole site up and running one day!

I've got one of these, and it's going up for sale hopefully tonight on the board. I'm just never going to get to restoring it... been storing it for 4.5 years.

I'd like it to go to a good home - someone on the board who will fix it up!
