SUMMER OVER, but it's never to late to enjoy a beautiful BUICK convertible. There will always be another summer. Up for sale is a beautiful Classic 1975 BUICK LESABRE CUSTOM CONVERTIBLE. If you are looking for a fully restored showroom condition car, this is NOT IT. It is however a very nice example of what was, almost 45 years ago. It turns heads and gets a thumbs up every time I drive it. The odometer reads 44157, now when I bought the car the speedometer did not work, so the mileage is not accurate. It could have 144157 or 244157 or maybe only 44157 +/- ????? Don’t know didn’t care. The car started its life as a powder blue car with a white interior. A previous owner had the car vinyl wrapped with a pearl white metallic wrap and the interior changed to red. The car is powered by the Buick 455 BIG BLOCK 4BBL(SIZE DOES MATTER, nothing beats cubic inches,) with a smooth shifting automatic transmission and custom dual exhaust. The car runs well, and stops well (for a car with rear drum brakes). Most everything on the car works as it should. The only things that currently are still in need of attention are, the air conditioning is not working, the compressor clutch is bad. I have a new clutch but have not yet installed it. That is the first step to see if the AC works. It may need other parts but until the clutch is changed who knows. The cruise control is not working, I have not looked at it. The windows on the driver’s side need to be re-aligned. The big heavy drivers door could probably use new hinges it has a small amount of sag but still opens and closes fine. Some interior finishing and touch up. It needs the glove box insert. As for the convertible top, it functions as it should and the fabric is new along with new cables, pads, well liner and rain drip channel.
The car has a few modern touches, it has a Pioneer radio with Bluetooth and USB, The headlights have blue LED halos that are switched so they can be turned on or off. It has a 3 gauge cluster with LED Volt, Water Temp and Oil pressure.
Things I have done since I bought the car. I had my mechanic roll through the entire car. The brakes on all 4 corners where checked and parts replaced as needed. New battery. The passenger side exhaust manifold was resealed. New rear coil springs installed. Full Tune up with new cap, rotor and plugs. The speedometer was repaired . I freshened up the engine bay and put on a chrome air filter assembly (OEM stock air cleaner included). Replaced all vacuum lines with silicon hoses.Complete carburetor rebuild. Replaced the hvac controls. New sun visors. Cleaned up the wheels. Many extra parts come with this beauty.
Most everything on the car is good but NOT perfect.

With classic insurance this car is on the road for under $250 for the year. (Makes a great spare car if your daily driver needs to go into the shop)

Asking: $ 11,500.00 OBO (CASH ONLY) NO LOWBALL OFFERS (don’t waste my or your time)
Would consider a trade for any Ford with the 7.3 Diesel. Excursion, F250 or F350 single rear wheel (must be 4 door an no rot on doors rockers or bed rails)

If you are interested, the car is located in Babylon, NY 11702. You can contact me via email through Craig’s list, or text, if you call please leave a voicemail. Just include a phone number so I can give you a call back

The sale is CASH ONLY, I don’t need any help to sell the car. I will NOT ship the car, I don’t take PayPal, checks, bank checks, certified checks, money orders or wire transfers.

Come down take a look, make a cash offer.
The car is being sold AS-IS /WHERE-IS, I am in no rush to sell, I just don’t use the car that much and could use the cash for other things (bills).

Well, not sure what was done to the interior, it looks like crushed velvet, but otherwise it looks reasonably straight.
