Hello I'm really in need of a drivers side upper door hinge for a 76 electra. If anyone has one or info on parts interchange I would greatly appreciate it.
From my Interchange Manual: Buick '71-'76; Caddy '71-'76; Chevy '71-'76; Olds '71-'76; Pont. '71-'76; Riviera '71-'76 (ALL FULL SIZE CARS) Camaro/Firebird '70-'80; Eldorado '71-'78; Toronado '71-'78
Hollander #179 (Upper) '71-'76 Large GM cars '71-'78 Eldo / Toronado & likely Riviera (Hollander is sketchy on Riviera, but am including it) '70 - '81 Camaro / Firebird (Might be best route to take as repros should exist) How bad is yours? Perhaps as Gary D says, yours can be "re bushed" Do have access to a pair of Eldorado's (75 - 78 ish) in local yard Dave S dona Ana NM 88032
Thanks much everyone, my hinge is missing the spring and wheel, I didnt think it was a way to save it. I did find a upper eldo hinge on ebay. Thanks much I'll keep everyone posted because the entire door is dropping and binding with the rear door.
I have goodmark hinges on my skylark. I would not buy again.. the passenger roller assembly snapped off and I had to replace. All the hinges are starting to wear and the doors drop a bit. No shortage of grease either.
