I’m posting this for my friend.. Car is UNIQUE.. 1981 CUTLASS factory DIESEL... Smog Exempt!! Currently has a mild built aluminum headed Small Block Chevy, “a SHERMANATOR” motor, That was built by the Late Great Joe Sherman of Orange County California.. Car has low miles since being put together.. I don’t have much info on the build, My friend is suffering from dementia and Joe Sherman has passed away... Car is in good condition, interior is ok, has great SBC, auto trans, I’m not sure if it’s a th350 or 400, and Ford 9 inch rear. So, if it was just a Cutlass, not really worth anything, BUT since it’s a factory Diesel car and smog exempt, dose that give it value? OR, buy this very good Joe Sherman built SBC (at least a 350, but could be a 383, my friend had a few built by Joe, not cheap crap, I know he spent over $5000 on them, and get the Car Free..... Car is currently California Non Op. Come get it in Escondido, buy the motor, get the car FREE, OR, buy the smog exempt car, get the motor free... $2200 I’ll put this on local Craigslist for $2500 after a few days..... Gary G. The 65 in the background is a “post” car, with 455, th400, 12 bolt posi eith 3.73 gear.. I’m going to change the radiator, and starter solenoid, Then it will go up For Sale. So, 65, and a 72 Skylark’s will be going up soon.... Gary G.
