OK Buick People: I have a 97 1500 Sub (4 X 4) of which I tow my 4,000 pound 1960 Buicks with. Because the drive train was basically good and I had it so long and I have a mental problem cutting things loose I kept throwing money at it. It's become a money pit and my arm is sore. Now I have a beat piece of junk that runs really strong.

Next. A guy I've sold a bunch of 65 Riviera parts to offers me an '06 Black on black Escalade for market price. This guy's a mechanic who's super maintained it since new and it's got 65K. I passed because I would have been in it the purchase price plus another 5 grand in a short time because these things don't hold up that great.

Low and behold, a friend who does not maintain his vehicles gives me his 98 Suburban running poorly. It's super clean with 217K. I put a budget of $1,500 to get it operational. Looks like I'll be in it twice that but...it is clean, it runs really nice, it's not a beat up ugly duckling like my 97 and the repairs were well placed so I'll get the value out of them...I hope which is a maybe.

It seems that there are a ton of 90's Suburbans on Craig's list. Some clean, some not. Older or newer, they all seem to be money pits. Mitch
