Steve I have raced there off and on for several years. They do a pretty good job on race day, I've heard complaints on test and tune night.
Being this is a special event for them they will probably step up and do as good a job as they can.
Starting line is usually pretty good, the right lane has a bump about 2/3 of the way out-you might want to feel that one out Friday night so there are no surprises. Tower side is flat and smooth. The faster cars need to be on the brakes pretty quick and there is a short and a long turn off.
There is 110 at the BP about 2 miles north of the track by the Walmart, I think there is 110 at the track but I have never used it.
Good Luck to all the racers, have a safe weekend.

    Mike D.

We were there sat. afternoon. Great time for us. Saw a staged wheelstand show. HA HA I crack myself up. It was with Mike and Jeff. Jeff is planing on being in the wheel stand show at Bryon IL. this year.Mark holda has a great picture of it and I hope he posts it on here.

Well, I know I had a great time, even with working the event! The weather was perfect, we couldn't ask for anything better. Friday night's cruise was cool, even some locals came to join the show. The rest of the weekend went by as a blurr. I do know Candice and Steve Smith did a great job with the car show, and money was handed out both days to the racers. We started out with $3,300 to hand out, and no one seemed unhappy! Thanks to all the volunteers from both chapters, and to the track folks! Sounds like we'll be having a 15th one next year!
