Hey fellow Buick fans. I've got a 2014 Regal Turbo with just under 34,000 miles on it. The other day the air bag warning light came on on both the dash and a warning came up on the center screen. It went away after a few minutes but then appeared again. It seems to go on and off intermittently. Has anyone else here had this issue? I'm going to give my repair shop a call on Monday, I'm hoping it's just a short in a wiring harness somewhere and not an actual issue with the airbag.
You first call should be to the local Buick dealership. Have your VIN handy as they will need it o check for service bulletins and possible recalls related to the airbag system. FYI, This thread on the forum is typically to introduce oneself and tell the community about the V8 Buick vehicle you own. But, having an airbag issue is a serious safety concern and that trumps the formality stuff.
