I think GM has some of the worst wheel designs the past 25 years

As a Corvette owner in my early 70's with deep connections to front engines and manual transmissions; the new Vette is revolutionary in appearance and build. I like the overall look and where they are going to build a better and faster car. Mechanicals are giving away to electronics and software in hopes of bringing in a new generation of buyer (which I am also for). I also appreciate that GM is keeping cost out of the twilight zone..... Bottom line is all a plus as long as the car performs positively for buyers; I congratulate GM for what I see.

I love the car! And it's about time! You can see that the mid engine help the 0 to 60 time great deal. I hope that something comes up there lap times at the nurburgring.

a buddy of mine from high school that races his at road courses is gravely going to trade in his c7 ZO6 for the c8 version. He keeps telling me to drop my project idea and just go get a C8. With my project estimate in the 80 grand range, I am in the see a category probably in the z51 arena..

I don’t like corvettes. Like riding in a wheelbarrow. Hard and uncomfortable. Hard to get in. Hard to get out. But there following is Big. kudos to finally putting engine where it belongs. I like speed racer’s look better than the corvette look. I think corvettes had more model years that were embarrassing and disappointing . Than model years where GM hit the bullseye. I CANT AFFORD ONE ANYWAY. But if i could it would be a 69 427.

it sure will but not by much. The Tesla hasn't won against the McLaren. Of course, thats $300,000..

The Tesla smokes a lot of things. I'm curious to see what GM going to come out with their new model since they bought hey Tesla and heavily critiqued it.

I'm not ready for electric cars yet. I've seen people drive on the highway hands-free laying down on their phones while the car is just driving along! I did look twice! In the meantime I'll enjoy my gas-guzzling noisy car.

...been waiting forever for middie, now that it's here I'm too old to crawl in-out.:( Disappointed in styling, too European, would have preferred recognizably US, but I'll get used to it...;)

I will be curious to see how this C8 stacks up against the best in the world. The C8 looks incredible. Its awesome to see an American mid engine super car. I would love to have one in my garage. I would want to drive this every day.

The wheels on the white one look better than the wheels on the blue one.

Doo Wop Where were you in '62?

Looks too bulbous for my liking. I would take a '67 tho with the 427/425.
