    That's ok, it'll still be out there when you're ready to play with it again.

    Sounds like a plan. Thanks for keeping an eye out.

    Is there any new updates on this subject.
    I have a 215 block and a 300 crank.
    I can't seam to find exact info on how to do this conversion.
    I need to know what rods and pistons to use.
    from what I can tell so far is the 300 crank is a bit longer. What needs to be done about that.
    What rear main rubber seal to use and what front one piece seal to use.

    If you are doing a build like that you will need to look up this company;

    http://www.aluminumv8.com/

    They even make the rear main seal adapter you will need to install the 300 crank in your 215 block along with possible piston and rod combos you can use.

    Honestly, I wouldn't. Unless you are in a situation where you absolutely positively cannot under any conceivable circumstances allow the addition of 80lbs of additional underhood weight even for the benefit of twice the power and 4 times the durability, I'd swap to the 300 and build one of those instead. It's cheaper, more reliable, more durable, more powerful and has a better selection of transmissions. Also cheaper. And better in every possible way. Aluminum engines are no longer unique, but iron engines hold up better.

    The 300" engine has a taller deck height so that intake manifold won't fit on a 215" motor.
