215 parts search

I’m rebuilding a 62 215 and while pricing around for parts I’m coming up with some crazy stuff. I googled main bearings and found them at autozone for 240 bucks, then I googled Land Rover 3.5 main bearings and advance auto has them for 38 bucks, and both are sealed power brand, and I know buick 215 and rover 3.5 are the same thing. What gives here ?

 

They should be the same.
But Bruce, why not upgrade to the 300? It's a much better engine and has better transmission choices as well.

OK, well TA has 215 parts too.

I'd go buy the cheap ones @ advance auto, check them out good and if they will work you just saved a lot of money. If not, just return them and go get some others.

Egge, has parts for the 215 also. Look at "Rock" auto also.
